In the search for some good PHP Blogging Software, i stumbled upon Serendipity. At the time it was in version 0.2 and somewhat buggy, containing only the most basic features and the plugin system.

I soon began posting bugs and submitting patches, but my submissions got quietly ignored. I then mailed Jannis Hermanns and asked him if he would grant me developer access to the project, which he agreed upon.

Since then I have been working on implementing new features, fixing bugs and designing the Serendipity Default theme. My work on Serendipity is really more aimed at improving, rather than adding. However some of my more noticeable additions include the upgrade mechanism, comment moderation, the template system and smarty integration. The overall changes are really too many to mention, so check out the CVS changelog for further details.
