I started using Serendipity in June of 2003, while looking for a blogging package that used PostgreSQL as the database back end. At that time the only package I could find that even alluded to supporting it was Serendipity. When I first installed it however I found that the PostgreSQL support had significantly lagged behind the MySQL development, so I did some considerable work to catch it up. I also produced the patch that removed our dependence on PHP short_tags.

It seems however that my ambition was greater than my time constraints. My meager bloggings can be found here. My entries are sporadic, but generally well thought out.

I'm also a contributor to the PHP project (I did some work on the domxml extension as well as the windows port), I ported cracklib to windows (so that PHP's crack extension would work there), and am a member of TriLUG.
