That's the theory--0.8 is, of course, not yet production quality, so there may be bugs. As always, you should back up your data first.

For a temporary fix, remove the track exits plugin. It seems like the link is having an identity crisis, trying to decide between index.php and exit.php (should be the latter). I haven't looked at the code, but my guess is an overbearing mother with an alcoholic father. So sad, the things some links...

First off, look at the idea theme (it's the default on my blog --notice that the light bulb doesn't /look/ like a background image as it doesn't repeat. Is your image semantically significant, or is it exclusively for presentational purposes? If the latter, you should use the CSS technique in Idea. ...

0.7 or 0.8? In 0.8 it's easy, you just modify the entries.tpl file. In 0.7, well the easiest way would probably be to use CSS (display: none) to hide certain elements, but note that they would still be sent to the client. Other than that, you'd have to modify quite a bit of the code.

It looks like you set your database prefix to a hyphen ("-"). Change it to serendipity_ or s9y_ or whatever, but it must be a valid table name.
