when i install there is no template at all. the link to 'Open login screen' is normally http://www.mysite.com/index.php?/admin but now when i nstall a blog it is http://www.mysite.com/admin only when i manually type the admin address and click on the configuration link twcie does the template proper...

when copying files from one folder to another for shared install, it will not work if i put the $ symbol 1st.

using this technique, would one have to put the document root, php_value include_path
& php_admin value in the http.conf file?

If so how would that look since their are no virtual hosts?
