which htaccess file should i put the virtualhost info in to make shared installation work? I found the following ones.

b. /home/siteaddress/mainwebsite_html/serendipity
c. /var/www/html
d. /var/www/html/serendipity

or is it another location all together?

can i apply my apache configurations in the htaccess file

smoothly?

I was instructed by my site host to "Please apply your apache configurations into file /var/www/html/.htaccess file instead."

would doing this prevent me from setting up a shared installation?

If not would i have to do anything differently ?

can we alert admin on posts in forum function ?

i have been to other forums that have an alert tab where by clicking it the forum admin will be alerted to check a post for not following site policies.

is this possible because i have seen many posts on this site linking to online gambling sites? just curious if anyone is familiar with this..

you just extract it to what ever location it is currently in, then go to the homepage of your blog and it will walk you through it.

upgrade button at the bottom on the left.
