You can simply save the picture in the needed size. This has the advantage that you can choose the size yourself instead of having a size restrictment.

thanks for the reply garvin,

I am actually looking to have the size restriction. to not have the size restriction is a disadvantage for me.

how can i restrict all authorpic plugin images to one size. 60 x 60 for example...

Thanks in advance

You can do that via CSS, the authorpics has its own class which you can fix on "60x60".

Otherwise - simply only upload 60x60 images. :-)

note that if you make the css change and do not change the original images, your loyal readers will ALWAYS be loading the large images and then displaying them as 60x60.

This is such a common mistake on so many website! It shows up with the webpage taking a long time to load and then showing just a bit of text and small images. Best to change the image size before uploading.

You could change the image size values in imagemagick prior to loading these images and then rename the thunbnail to the image name you want to use. This works when you have no image manipulation experience or the software to do it!
