Shoutbox input does not work

I'm having troubles with the shoutbox plugin. When I try to place a shoutbox entry, nothing happens. I don't get an error, but I don't see the shout entry neither. When I view the table in the database I can see no row was added there.
When I manually insert a row in the shoutbox table, it does show up in my blog. So it seems inserting a shout in the table doesn't work, but showing it does. Any suggestions how this can be fixed?
You can see it yourself at www.kortefrans.nl/weblog (the shoutbox is at the bottom right). I'm using serendipity version 0.9.1. by the way.

It just worked fine! I've written "Trying to shout!" and it was emediatly posted.

I don't understand it, at first it really didn't work, but now it seems to work fine. :S Seems to me this topic can be closed then...
